PDF layouts, portrait or landscape, and what gets printed

The four document layouts, which one to pick to print in landscape and where your choice is saved.

Open Rider options (the ruler icon next to LOCK SELECT, top left of the stage) and pick one of the four document layouts at the bottom of the dialog:

  • Compact: stage plot and channel list on a single portrait page.
  • Extended: the stage plot fills a landscape page and the channel list goes on a second, portrait page.
  • Stage Plot Only: just the stage plot, full page, landscape.
  • Channel List Only: just the channel list, on a portrait page.

So, to print the stage plot horizontally, choose Extended or Stage Plot Only.

For the rider to remember it next time you open it, save it with the SAVE button, or let autosave do it if you have it on. The same dialog holds the stage size and the toggles for the stage axes and measurements.
